Cat mutilations - what the heck is going on?!?

We have all heard of cattle mutilations, but now the same thing seems to be happening to cats. It could be shrugged off as one really sick individual, if it was localized - but it seems to be happening all over the U.S. and the world.

In case you are skeptical, like myself, here are some links to news reports from different parts of the U.S.

Do a little research, and you'll find lots more. All the incidents seem to have a few common threads.

  • The cats are cut with surgical precision
  • No blood around body
  • Rewards offered, but no leads or suspects can be found
  • Cat are usually found cut in half, both halves are carefully set as if to be found

I think that most law enforcement agencies see this as localized, and are not realizing its happening all over. Very strange, and disturbing, to say the least.

Ghosts caught on tape - creepy!

I came across this video clip of ghosts caught film. I don't know if the footage is real or not, but its pretty convincing. At the very least, its a little creepy watching it by yourself late at night!

Are ufos real?

Ok, for my first blog, I thought I would tackle the BIG question. Are UFOs real?

First, let me define what I mean by UFO. Why? Because there is always some smart a** who will say, "Sure they are real. Look up, there's something flying and I don't know what it is - a Unidentified Flying Object." Ok, so maybe that its technical definition, but here I'm talking about flying craft that are of extraterrestrial, or extradimensional original.

Are UFOs real? Simple anwer: I just don't know!!!

Now, I like to think of myself as a 'hopeful skeptic.'

Skeptical; but not close minded. There is a difference. I would just like to see a UFO with my very own eyes.

Hopeful because it just doesn't seem right to be all alone in this universe. Think about it. We live in a small spiral galaxy called The Milky Way. Of course small is a relative term. It is 100,000 light years across in size. So it would take light, which travels at 186,000 miles per second, 100,000 years to travel across the length of our galaxy! Further more, to quote Carl Sagan, our galaxy is composed of billions and billions of stars! And we are only one of hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions or billions, of galaxies - each with billions and billions of its own stars! It's just somewhat disturbing to think that we would be all alone in our own galaxy, even more so, in the whole universe.

I go back and forth on the issue of UFOs being real or not. After all - after all these years of UFO sightings and alleged UFO crashes, shouldn't we have some type physical evidence? Even if just a little, tiny piece of super-metalliod with wierd alien symbols on it?

Some say that we do, but that the government hides and covers up evidence. Maybe. But, on the other hand, the government is just not good at keeping secrets. No, really. I still remember seeing the F-117A Stealth Fighter for sale as a toy model at the hobby store when its existence was still being denied. And Area 51. How long have we known about the base at Area 51 while the government was still denying its existence. But still, perhaps it is a possibility....

Just as I start getting discouraged, thinking that there are no UFOs, something always brings back some hope. Either a convincing video or good picture (see photograph of triangular UFO to right!) - even though they are easily photoshopped these days. Or, as most recently, good, credible testimony from an expert witness.

This latest blast of encouragement came from a television program. I think it was an episode of UFO Files. The whole program was dedicated to witness testimony and black box recordings from airline pilots. It may sound kind of dry at first, but really, for purposes of credible UFO reporting , it doesn't get any better than this - this is expert testimony. Many of these airline pilots are ex-military pilots and it is hard to discount their sightings as weather balloons or experimental military aircraft. These guys know what's in the air and know conventional aircraft - and what is not!. Then to hear the actual black box recordings, the shock in their voices, and even the fear in a couple of cases - it is really some convincing evidence.
